Liberated from the G20

G20 experiences fantastic but glad to be home watching the Stillers, cooking chili and hanging with noj and nek (and stoor the bear, of course). Halloween is just a short month away and I'm loving the season. New York is coming up, then New Orleans. Hope we didn't get stiffed with the apartment.

We're on the road to the Superbowl so look for more expert banter from Sheridan Avenue. Um, Bengals just scored; I guess I won't count my chickens....

Guests of Honor

Obviously I did not take the pictures of the family picnic otherwise I would have featured the guests of honor.  Well, here they are in Scotland two months ago...

Family Weekend

The banter this weekend was family.  This weekend the parents were moving from the Mt Lebanon townhome of eight years to a Continuing Care assistance apartment at Providence Point.

The end of summer surf and turf of swordfish and steak was in celebration of the move from property to communal living; from taxes to monthly maintenance/activity fees; from endless waits for contractors to onstaff maintenance department.

As I get ready to pay another month of bills, I am jealous ... but proud that they are comfortable!
